A burning torch illumunitated a dark, empty corridor. The hall was infested with mold and dirt; the perfect habitat for rats and other such things. Blood dripped from the dead corpes' that had been left here by the savage; Their armor tattered and bent. They had been mutilated. The sight was nauseating.  I stepped forward into the black and waved my torch in front of me to spot anything that might have been out of the ordinary.
